This was a replay of last week's game but with my wife. The rules were a HUGE hit she likes them a lot and finds them very intuitive. Her only complaints were my terrible QRS that only I can understand and "I really hate it when you just start making up rules."
She played the cops and I played the gangsters. Ended in a resounding victory for law and order, although 2 police officers were killed in the action.
She is keen to play again, I am working on my next scenario, which may involve ships and Deep Ones.
Here are some poor quality pictures:

Cool stuff man, and based off your last batrep I bought the rules and took them for a spin this past weekend, plan on playing again soon.

Thanks! They really are flexible and I love the playing cards. The basic rules are very simple, but I like the way you can easily add scenario and period specific rules. I look forward to seeing what you think of them.
DeleteGood stuff! You have me intrigued with the Deep Ones to throwaway line, especially as I am in the middle of playing (a lot of) Lovecraft's Revenge at the moment.
ReplyDeleteI never tried Lovecraft's Revenge, although I used to play a lot of THW stuff a while back. I might get a copy. I did paint the Crucible Crush deep ones a few moths ago, so I need to get them on the table!
